This Sigma Zoom-KII 70-210 f/4.5 lens has a Canon FD mount. It is a 12 elements in 9 groups push-pull lens design. Researching it on the internet is frustrating as there are many Sigma lenses that are in the 70-210 range but with different apertures. Some get slower as you zoom, so are f/4-f/5.6. Some start faster at f/4. Eventually you are deflected off into autofocus optics.
One cute tidbit I came across was someone converted their OM mount Sigma Zoom to a Nikon mount (referring to them as “tails”). They found during the conversion the lens has three separate linkages to shut the aperture down to shooting setting.
It was not difficult to change the mount!
